The Daughters of the Heart of Mary (DHM) – North Province, India, has released two institutional policy documents establishing a zero-tolerance framework against abuse and workplace misconduct:

• Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures (Part-1): Establishes comprehensive child protection measures across all DHM programs and centres of activity in alignment with UN CRC principles, the POCSO Act (2012), and Juvenile Justice laws. It mandates strict Codes of Conduct, digital safety guidelines, grassroots Child Safeguarding Officers (CSOs), and clear reporting protocols.

• Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at Workplace Policy (Part-2, v1.1): Outlines a safe, dignified work environment in strict compliance with India's POSH Act (2013). Universally applicable to all employees, volunteers, interns, and partners, it details the constitution of the Internal Committee (IC), interim relief measures, confidential inquiry procedures, and fixed resolution timelines.
